Q.

#asktheexpert hi doctor, my daughter who is 2.2 years old has a cavity on the upper left last tooth. what should be done to treat this cavity and what are the consequences of not being able to treat immediately. Also how will I know if it's painful or not? Please suggest

A. If you do not get it treated in the right time it can reach the root of the teeth and then you’ll have to go for a root canal which is going to be rather a bigger kind of a deal so it’s better to consult a dentist and go for what they suggest
