#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, My daughter is suffering from fever since last 2 days. and we have given her flexon 4 ml syrup on SOS. but fever again comes back when effect of medicine drops. kindly advise

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose acds the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children4 years agoA. it is better to consult the doctor and after observation give medicine accordingly.. as the baby is having fever since two days.. keep baby well hydrated.. you can use wet cotton patti to low down the temperature.. take care.
