Q.

#asktheexpert hi doctor my daughter is having cough after every 10- 15 days,what can I do to help her sometimes she coughs so much that she vomits . so please help??

A. whenever there is prolonged cold and cough not improving it can be due to either infection or allergy. also when oral medicines are not working you may have to go for nebulization and the next best option would xbe inhaler with the help of a spacer. it is also important to take care of that and not give any sugary diet as well as all the food which mixght be causing increase in cold and cough. avoid outside eatables as well as packet foods like biscuits chocolates ice cream. try to prevent temperature variations which might trigger cold and cough again and again

A. Maybe there is still congestion in the chest of your child throat of your child and that is why your child is spitting out mucus like this also continuous cough can be due to some kind of an allergy so if if you require you can definitely check with your doctor regarding that
