many times during infection they will increase in size and they will again decrease in size when the infection gets controlled.

If it is not creating any pain or trouble to the child and it is not a problem it could just be a fat ball which is called diploma but as a parent I can understand your concern so best is to get it checked with your doctor so that you’ll be tension free for about it
