#AskTheExpert hi doctor! my daughter is almost 4.6 years today. and she keeps repeating our sentences everytime after we speak in a low whispers. just wanted to make sure from you if it's normal.

A. thanks for the revert doc. but my concern is different. my daughter talks very well and the only thing is that she repeats after us in low whispers. whatever we say she repeats. is this normal or just a part of her understanding and growing up .

A. to improve speech -read different books to the child -talk to the child daily routine like the child understands you with regular eye contact -singing songs and rhymes -while talking repeat what your child says with right pronunciation and do not criticize the child -avoid screen time(tv mobile laptop). leave pdermit the child to watch the activities that allow to improve his languaged -take your child outside (open environment) and have a talk with the child regarding the things around the child -introduce new words gradually for proper understanding -speak about things child is interested in.
