#AskTheExpert hi doctor .my daughter is 3 yrs old .I have asked question you replied allergic bronchitis but sir my daughter doesn't have fever cold only cough .when she coughs nothing comes phlegum she coughs at night heavily at least 2 hours or morning .pls give me an answer.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is having a night cough mainly dry type so it’s mostly due to mouth breathing or she is having a asthma and needs syrup Ascoril Ls 3 ml twice a night

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it may be allergy which is causing the problem so visit the doctor for examination Give home made food. Crush and boil tulsi and ginger and filter to make tulsi ginger water. (Honey can be added to this tulsi ginger water if age of the more than 1 year of age) Give more water to drink to keep the child hydrated. Also turmeric with milk can be given twice daily. Saline drops for nasal blockage.

Without proper physical examination it is not possible to conclude anything. Consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Good luck and take care.
