#AskTheExpert hi doctor my child is 6 months old and he fell down today on his forehead. we have noticed some swelling in forehead. Can you suggest any immediate relief to get it control also please suggest if we need to consult doctor. Thank you

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. give paracetamol twice a day.. if baby seems irritable or vomit then immediately visit your paediatrician.. it will be better if you can adjust your baby bedding on floor now till completion of two years

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Use ice packs or cold compresses right after impact to help reduce the size of the bruise and keep inflammation and swelling down. The cold will slow down the amount of blood that rushes to the area, which helps minimize the blood that leaks into the surrounding tissues.
