A. there are number of reasons of excessive crying in children because it can be either due to some type of colic pain or digestion problem or due to some type of nasal blockage abdominal pain or any body pain / ear ache. so if it is not improving meet your doctor and for pain you can give one dosage of paracetadmol. if it appears to be colic pain you can give anti colic medicine and if it is due to nasal blockage you can give nasal saline drops. many times changing the environment of the child helps as well as divderting the child helps.

A. hello yes it is normal and just make sure the child is tummy full and this way the child will be able to have a good sleep and any concern it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly which would be better and also safe
