#asktheexpert Hi Doctor! My baby is pooing in green colour is that ok Doctor?

A. some babies poop in green colour till one year.. if child looks fine then there's nothing to worry about it.. but if green stools are accompanied with mucus or blood then can be a sign of infections

A. Hello dear parent! Formula feeding, change in the diet, discomfort like cold and cough cause green stools. Check for the triggers. Try giving indirect steam to your baby in case I’d cough and cold. As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting foods, no blood or foul smell in the stools then nothing to worry. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
