#AskTheExpert Hi doctor My baby is one month old. She has cold and cough, blocked nose during the night. I gave her flucold syrup but the symptoms are still there. Please help me out

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. just steam fkr the nose. Blockage of nose is due to the common cold and flu due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Nasal drop like nasovion for block . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

Cold take around 4 to 5 days to go or fully so you don’t have to worry about it at all. You should just continue giving a medication as advised by the doctor and always try to keep your baby in normal room temperature and don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently
