#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, My baby is having only fever from last night. Could you please suggest.

By 7am she had 100.7F . We gave her 0.5ml of cr9cin drops. Then again by 10am 99.8F. she is bit fussy.
11.30 i still find some temperature. Can i go for 2nd dose of crocin drops

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only a temperature above 99F is considered as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again requiredk
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever,but if it continues further you should consult your doctor for proper treatment.
