#AskTheExpert Hi doctor My baby is 2 year & 3 mnths old... Fully active baby boy After 1&half year we noticed that there is small lump in the back of his neck...don't feel that it is in the outer portion..what is the reason & is this danger ?

A. Hello, Finding a lump on your child's neck can be alarming but neck masses are very common in children and usually harmless. A swollen spot on the neck is often an enlarged lymph node, for example, a sign your child's immune system is fighting off an infection.
