Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, my baby has been vaccinated with MR vaccine at 9 month. Now I came to know Indian Pediatrics guidelines that MMR is recommended over MR. Can you plaese clarify whether 2 MMR dose at 12 M and 5 Y can be given?

A. you can go for MMR vaccination at 15 months of age and the second booster can be taken at 5 years of age and that is more than enough for the mumps vaccine that you were not able to take during the nine months of age
