#asktheexpert Hi doctor, my baby girl is 15 months and not gaining wieght. Her wieght is 8.5kgs only, however she is active. She is not eating properly, her first teeth sprouted a month back, so her teething is late.pkease guide.

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. hello dear parent do not worry about teething as it is a natural process. yes in some babies it is delayed. but eventually it will come. for weight problem please consult a pediatrician

Consult your doctor once or dentist once for proper medical examination and treatment
Maintain hygiene
Maintain hydration
Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk
Give seasonal fruits vegetables cereals mashed potato mashed banana mashed sweet potato
Take a good care of your baby
Burp well after every feeding
