#ASKTHEEXPERT Hi Doctor, My Baby entered into 15 month, He is not showing intrest in standing up / walking without support. he is walking with support of holding objects. Please suggest.

A. Hi Its normal babies usually start walking around 12 to 17 weeks initially babies hold the object or any tables around them to walk. So keep Baby motivated to walk around

A. Just give it two more months and try and encourage your child as much as you can walk independently because a child is meant to walk independently between the age of 12 to 17 months otherwise it’s a delay currently the positive sign is that your child is walking with support comfortably but you have to give more comfort to the child to learn to walk independently that is very important
