#AskTheExpert hi Doctor my 4months old does potty once in 3 days when I see his stomach it's normal not hard is there any problem,he take feeds well and plays well

A. can you suggest drops name and dosage please

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drohps and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year ohf age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Hi mom This is normal. Constipation is common in breast feed babies. Babies can go without poop for a week altogether and even more. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise,accepting feeds then no need to worry
