A. no it is not so if baby is taking balanced diet .Green leafy vegetables and fruits . Some good source of protein like egg or soya bean can be given . Any protein powder can also be started after baby age is more than 2 yr of age .

A. Of the doctor has examined ur baby and felt he or she is anaemic and might require iron drops yes u may give. But otherwise not necessary. You can include iron through his foods. Iron fortified formula or cereals can be included in his diet. In addition to that iron rich vegetables and iron fortified foods like sweet potato, ragi, oats, beetroot, peas etc., can be given. after one year of age u can give eggs, fish, all greens, lentils, soya beans, dry fruits, jaggery, tofu etc.,
