Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, I have two questions wrt my 2 months old baby girl 1. During the night feeds in the lying down position baby goes to sleep after the feed, should we pick them up and burp ? 2. During the early morning feed, with the too much milk supply she most of the times chokes or coughs, could you please suggest me how can I avoid that

A. Hi Mommy No need to worry No need for burp The more relaxed you are while breastfeeding, the better your milk will flow. Make sure your chair or bed is comfortable and try to remove any distractions. For example, turn off your phone or put a ‘do not disturb’ sign on your door. Have a glass of water on hand for yourself too Discard extra milk Try to keep head up position
