#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, I have been tested positive for covid and have a baby of 1.4yrs . I wanted to check if I can breastfeed the baby while I'm on medication. Tab Ivermectin12mg daily once for 5 days. Tab Doxy 100mg twice daily for 5 days. Tab Fabiflu 1800mg twice on day 1 followed by 800mg twice daily for 5 days. TAB ZINCOVIT twice daily for 1 week. Tab Dolo 650mg for fever Can you pls suggest .

A. Hi. yes you can breastfed your child but try to maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene when you're around your baby..wear mask everytime and as long as it's possible avoid close contact with your baby.

A. Hi mom Yes you can give Give adequate feeding Wash your hands often before touching your baby Wear mask use hand sanitiser Burp well after every feeding Give three meal and two snacks including seasonal fruits vegetables cereals mashed potatoes mashed banana porridge khichadi curd fruits juice
