#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor i am 7 month's pregnant and there is a shooting pain down in my pelvis area is it something to worry about I went to my doctor as well but she mentioned that it could be muscle pain. Can you please help me here

A. Hello dear It could be an entity called as ‘lightning pain of vagina’ where during pregnancy due to increased blood flow there will be severe pain in the vagina even until delivery

A. hi yes , sometimes it happens because of growing uterus and it's pressure on pelvic area. although inform your treating doctor regarding this once again ,it is better to for your health. mam , please don't sit or stand for long period. take support while sitting and place pillow between your legs while sleeping. it will help to get relief in pain.
