#asktheexpert hi doctor, how do i relieve my son from chest congestion? he has a running nose, cough and a quiet a lot of snoring that shows nose block. I use saline spray and kofol. he is 17 months.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. okay no problem dh. in monsoon season baby will be having cold and cough frequently due to viral infections sometimes allergies please give steam inhalation frequently and saline drops in the nose of the baby

Flu symptoms often mimic cold symptoms with nasal congestion, cough, aches, and malaise. But a common cold rarely has symptoms of fever above 101 degrees. With flu symptoms, you will probably have a fever initially with the flu virus and you will feel miserable.
