#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, Good morning. We have got MMR vaccine for my 9 months old son on 1st Jun, since yesterday he was continuously having fever. We are using paracetamol every 6 hours once and it ia being controlled. Is it normal to get fever after MMR, if yes how many days it will be there. Thank you,

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. yes it is normal to get fever after vaccines so majority of the kids do not take MMR vaccine and do not get fever if your baby is having fever above 99 Fahrenheit give paracetamol drops to baby and weight for 2 days
