#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, can you pls advise me which medicine i can opt for cold and cough headache is also there .I am in 1st trimester of pregnancy. I m scared to take any other medicine.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. at present take plain paracetamol Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

I Cannot recommend you any medicine since you are pregnant it is better that you please talk to your gynaecologist if you cannot visit her just make a phone call or talk to her and tell her the scenario you are in shall advise you with the safest medicines that you can go for also always remember through your pregnancy and when You are breastfeeding always take medicines with the consent of your gynaecologist only
