#AskTheExpert hi doctor can i breastfeed my baby after 2 years ?? My pediatrician said to stop orelse it will affect my health itseems. but I want to continue to breast my baby. can u guide me

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. if you are healthy it's ok but you cabs tart weaning now Cows milk or buffalo s milk can be given from 1 year of age till then it's advisable to get ve breast milk or formula feed you can also add sugar or dry fruit powder in the milk after 1 year

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi well , relactation is possible. but as your child is 2 year old ,there is no need of breastfeeding now. you can start offering external milk like cow's milk.
