#AskTheExpert Hi doctor.After my delivery,it's been one year since I am having irregular cycles.How long will this continue?Can inserting an IUD be a reason to the irregular cycles?I am also having immense hair loss.Will this stop only after my cycles become regular?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. there can be various reasons for irregular bleeding starting from hormonal imbalance to the IUD also to some extent in the beginning Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination if required there is need for appropriate investigations also in this regard o k

There is irregularity of periods and hairfall after delivery due to the hormonal changes..
If u are breastfeeding mother then irregularity is normal. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular.
For hairfall issues apply onoin juice mixed with coconut oil on the scalp to stop hair from falling. Have diet rich in protein to control hairfall
