#AskTheExpert hi doc regarding my son who I think is underweight 21 kg he is hyperactive he has completed seven

A. if he is active than no need to worry about it. weight is not bad. Give well balanced diet including all five healthy food groups: vegetables, fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein. Avoid foods high in salt, saturated fat and sugar, foods low in fibre and nutrients, and drinks with caffeine or lots of sugar.

A. Long, short, thin, or chubby — babies come in all shapes and sizes. While society may send a message that your lil' nugget has to have rolls of baby fat to be healthy, this isn't really true. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry.
