#AskTheExpert Hi Doc,my son is 5 yrs old and having Vitamin D deficiency. The value is 8.5 .He feels weak and is cranky . pls help me wid diet and medicines for him

A. Children with low vitamin D also need enough calcium in their diet. Aim to give them two to three serves of dairy each day .orange juice,oatmesl, mushrooms,tofu, orange juice, all dairy products, youghrt, Cheese, egg yolk, soymilk , cereals,. The best way to get your daily dose of vitamin D is by spending time out in the sun.

Hi mommy Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
