Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doc, my 3.6 years old daughter hasn't pooped for 12 days. I took her to doc and he prescribed domperidone suspension ..its been two days since I am giving my child this syrup but still she didn't poop. I am worried.

A. it is com ofk kid .Hard stool is very common in babies ; due to low fiber and water intake . So increase the quantity for water and fiber . Also lactulose can be used if severe constipation is there and it is trouble some .
