#AskTheExpert Hi Doc In my blood test, my Haemoglobin was 9.9 please tell me the iron rich food which I can include in my daily diet

A. dear mum If non veg then have organ meat, fish, poultry. Green leafy vegetables especially rajgira, shepu, spring onion, other greens. Beet root, sitaphal. Dry fruits like dates, black currant munnakka, prunes, figs as it is or soaked overnight. In grains Bajra, poha is good. Have whole pulses like kala chana, beans, rajma, sprouted pulses. Have seasonal fruits especially citrus like orange, mousambi, berries, guava, before food for good iron absorption.
