A. Generally babies gain 400-900 gm per month by 5-6 months they double their birth weight. Check if baby gaining weight every month average weight atleast. Give feed every two hours if you feel lighter in breasts ,baby cries or try to latch even after feed, not sleeping well, less peeing, not gaining weight then it might be due to insufficient milk supply. Have lactating foods - Papaya, chikoo, garlic in curries, garlic milk, rusk, bread toast, saunf water helps in increasing milk production.
