#AskTheExpert Hey my daughter who is 5 years old is having a constant cold from last 1month. I have consulted many doctors and given her medicines but cold is not going completely. She is having little bit signs of asthma also

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like guwikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. hello put nasal drops and also use instant cold releif rub from Babyhug which is effective and on regards to the medication it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
