#AskTheExpert hello sir., what to do to increase babies wt. as his mother is no more ... currently we are giving lactogen powder....is there any alternate option ..or else any best lacto powder..he is 3.5 months now... current wt 3.87 kg

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. What was the birth weight of the baby? Is the weight gain going on steadily or not? Your doctor will be able to tell you this because if the baby’s Preterm then 3.87 KG‘s is a good weight. There is no need to give anything extra and you can continue with the same formula . Your doctor might consider doing test like thyroid if there is any discrepancy in the weight gain or growth
