#AskTheExpert Hello sir!! My son has 6 months..He had flat shape head.. Pls suggest how to recover the shape..

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician2 years agoA. Do head massage properly every day before bath Change baby's position frequently while sleeping. It will help. Can use baby pillow in a night time while sleeping. As age progresses head will become round bcz skull bone will take time to fuse.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Flat head syndrome is most common between the ages of 6 weeks and 2 months old, and almost always resolve completely by age 2, particularly if parents and caregivers regularly work on varying baby's positions when he's awake.
