#AskTheExpert Hello sir, my son had mild cold. Due to this pandemic I can't go to hospital. So I gave nasivion drops 2drops in each nostrils three times a day. Told by the pediatrician in first cry. But he is coughing two to three times a day. Is it normal cough or I should give him a medicine. If I want to give medicine. which medicine I have to give sir?? How many times a day and how many drops???

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. kindly give nasal saline drops every three hourly and since it is a salt water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and try to prevent temperature vari4ations on the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
