#AskTheExpert Hello Sir, my baby stool culture test has been done . Although doctor has not said we have done it on our own. In result e coli bacteria with moderate growth has been seen. My baby is only 10 months . She is only 6.4 kg . Should I give antibiotic or not? If yes which one ?

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 5 m old girl3 years agoA. Yes, doctor has suggested Septra ds, but my husband and all elders are not allowing me to give this medicine. They are saying that bhukh nahi lagega , chhota bachcha ko nahi dena chahiye , nuksaan kar sakta hai. These things makes me confuse.

See you got it done on your own that’s completely fine that’s not a problem but antibiotics can never be given to the child without consulting the doctor if you found out the issue you talk to your doctor and go ahead with the medicine suggested by them onlyWrite Your Answer Here
