Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello sir, my baby is 5.5 months old... currently we are started to feed solid foods to him as per doctor's advice... Before taking solid food baby was used to poo three days once . now that habit is changed ... now he is passing motion twice a day morning and night... is that normal???

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies. you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suvbggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age

A. Hi mom. Yes this is normal. Passing out motion 2-3 times in a day is absolutely normal. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day, accepting feeds then no need to worry. Take care
