#asktheexpert Hello sir, Meri baby 4 month ki hone wali hai, wo breastfeeding karti hai, pichle 15 din se usko potty nahi ho rhi hai kuch din phle local Dr ne ek dawae diya tha back se dalne k liye uske bad baby ko bahut pain hua ar potty v hua lekin fir 5 din se potty nhi kar rahi, kya karu ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. The important thing is the consistency of tfhe stool so if it is semi solid to solid do not worry about the frequency of stool passage by the child.
It can vary from once in 10 days also and sometimes maybe around 6 to 7 times per day also.
If the consistcency of the stool is hard then only you have to visit the doctor

Enima You can go ahead with putting it into the anus of the child it does not create any pain to the child but yes your child is definitely going to pass motion within 3 to 4 hours and constipation is common for 5 to 7 days but it is too much now so you should consult your paediatrician as well
