#AskTheExpert hello sir/mam my son age is 2years 5mths old he is eating frequently sand and licking the wall i couldn't make him control and he has a habbit of chewing is thumb.. please help me how to control him for eating sand or is there any tonic for that

Pica is an eating disorder that is quite common among young ones..The disorder is defined as persistent and compulsive cravings to eat nonfood items, mainly due to iron or calcium deficiency, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.
