#AskTheExpert hello sir, im a new mom with a 4 months old baby due to my baby biting my nipples im unable to breastfeed sorry what formula can I give him

A. If you have adequate breastmilk supply you can just use a breast nipple to feed your baby and you should feed your baby only when baby is actually hungry so that they do not bite

A. Use a nipple shield that is going to protect your nipples from child’s biting and it is going to be better if you have a good amount of breastfeeding please continue breastfeeding since your nipples will be protected you will be comfortable feeling with a nipple shield otherwise if you want to switch to formula it’s your choice I will say but still your preference should be breastfeeding
