Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi, It has to be gradual process.
Start decreasing the frequency of breastfeeds.
Give dinner which is filling for the baby.
Reduce day time feeds and gradually night feeds.
Start giving top milk in daytime and if needed in night time.
Make baby sleep with father for few days.
Most babies start food rejection around this age.
Try giving your baby variety of food with different taste, colour and texture.
Sit down with your plate when you are feeding your kid, it will encourage her to see that you are also eating the same food.
Try to make the baby eat while playing.
Restrict juices.
Limit the intake of milk. As liquids fills the baby tummy leaving less space for solids.
Check for anemia, vitamin deficiencies, worms.
Also give ghee, homemade butter, paneer, boiled egg, dry fruits, curd, seasonal fruits and vegetables, sweet potatoes, banana etc to your baby.
