#AskTheExpert hello sir, after vaccination for how long crocin drops can be given to 3 month old, Dr suggested to keep 6 hours interval between doses and give it for 24 hour. what if fever continue, can it be given after 24 hours also

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice ovefr the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
