#AskTheExpert hello sir a baby with 8 days of age she is not sucking and whenever she come to touch with nipple she cries a lot. she is able to suck dropper for top feeding need ur gaid ance

Dear parents,
Kids need detailed and proper physical examination.
So that doctor can decide appropriate investigation and radiological test if needed .
You may make proper video then consult to near by hospital.
It is very early and difficult for me to comment at this moment

mam ,I advise to try different feeding positions for this.
make skin to skin Contact while feeding your child which will definitely help to encourage your child to take more feeds.
avoid using perfumed cosmetics and make changes in your diet.
because sometimes babies don't like particular taste and smell and they reject their feeds
