Q.

#asktheexpert Hello, My son is 3 months old and he is having a combination of breastmilk and formula. 10days before he had dysentery for more than 5 days and the doctor asked us to change the formula from enfamil to Zerolac, the one without lactose. Then the loose motion settled, but whenever we switch back to Old formula enfamil the problem comes again. So, we are continuing Zerolac for more than 10 days and i see a good difference in his weight gain after changing the formula. Can i continue Zerolac? I am just concerned whether the lactose free milk has any less nutrients.

A. kjb. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
