Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello , my son is 1 month and 6 days old. till 1st month i use to give formula milk 30 ml which later incresed to 45ml Now i am feeding as per demand 60ml is dexolac 1 is good ? please suggest the min and max limit for everymonth

A. no upper limit if the chld is digesting and not vomiting you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

A. Hello dear parent! The minimum milk intake is dependent on baby’s weight. It should 150ml for every kg weight. If your baby is 4kgs then minimum milk intake should be around 600ml in a day. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
