#AskTheExpert hello my daughter is having very high fever on forehead I gave paracetamol syrap before 5 hrs eventhen fever is high and she wakes up suddenly like shock after every 30 min.please guide me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if your daughter is suffering from high grade fever give paracetamol to the child and do cold sponging if still the fever persist you can give syrup meftal p in a proper dose

After Previous dosage 6 hour is complete you can give the medicine once again if the fever is on the higher side then you can give ibujesic +1.5 ML to your child that will help in reducing down the fever immediately and also do Thande Paani ki party on the forehead and behind the knees that will help in reducing down the fever faster
