Hello,
my daughter is 6years old But she doesn't have d average height of her age kids, even though me N my spouse have normal height.. please help

A. growth of the child can be ensured by fulfillment of proper nutritional requirement specially iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition.one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of micro and macronutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like Kids Pro/ prohance junior mixed with milk twice a day for one or two months but any health drink is not recommended before two yrs of age.u can add flavours also to milk. avoid giving too much of milk otherwise it may hamper the hunger of the baby and the baiby may not be taking interest in having other variety of food .and opposite to that if the baby is not taking mvilk properly the dairy products will be a good substitute like curd, paneer n cheese etc.

A. Hi See the height is completely genetic of a child since you people have an average height maybe which is why your child is also having an average height as per the age of six years so if you still have a doubt about it then you should consult your paediatrician for a check up on
