Q.

#asktheexpert hello, my baby has constipation. as per the dr's advice I gave polyethylene glycol for 2 months. he poops normally during the medication period. when I stop giving PEG his poop becomes hard. please help me to sort out this issue. Apart from this, he eats normally and well active. thanks in advance.

A. You should start giving prune juice in the night before sleeping and apart from that add some or apply some castor oil in the navel of the child about a drop or maybe two that will help increase the intake of liquids and fibre in the diet of your child
