#AskTheExpert hello my baby boy is 10 months old. from the time when he is 4 months old sometimes he gets up in sleep and cries he will be inconsolable. have to deviate him so much so that he will come back to his senses and take bm and sleep. now a days he is not doing that. but just now he did the same thing, woke up from sleep crying for 30hr. deviated him in every possible way. now he is taking my bm and sleeping. is it normal

ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello initially can be due to colic and by this time it should subside and at this age night terrors and reams also start. so sing songs and rhythms at night before sleep to keep calm.

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. #AskTheExpert baby having colic since he is 2 months old. its not consistent but mostly he suffers from colic. from 10 days he is having stoamch problems like motions vomitings. everything was reduced but not the colic. if i give him colicacid meyers drops he will sleep peacefully. if not he will cry. what to do. took him to 3 pediatricians and none gave correct advice or medicine. feeding him my bm and solids.

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. #AskTheExpert baby having colic since 2 months. he is 10 months old now. its not persistent bt come and goes. when i give colic drops he sleeps peacefully if not he will cry for 2 to 3 hrs at night. from 10 days he is having the problem. what to do in this case. i took him 3 pediatricians and none gave any correct suggestion.

In such situations it is advisable for you to get your baby personally examined by your doctor and seek further advice. Give your baby a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day. Follow your doctor’s instructions diligently. Good luck and take care.
