Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congeshiution it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

Siri do not give any medicine without getting it checked with your paediatrician if it is only happening in the night it would be good for you to ask your doctor what kind of mild medication you can offer to the child so that slowly this thing is going to be out of the system
