#asktheexpert hello mam.my child 7 yrs old is suffering from cough since 3 years.i have shown him everywhere but it didn't gone..we have done x ray and some tests too but everything was ok,only doctor said that he has some allergy type cough..what can I do to stop it mam?

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy10 months agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations . For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. x Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warm water to drink If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor paracetamol for fever and pain.
